THEO | 4 MONTHS

My god it's been a long month...but in a good way. Looking back on my last post from Theo's 3 month update to now is crazy! My little premie baby is turning into an actual little person...and a cheeky one at that! Stop growing munchkin! So here we have a quick update on how we're getting on at 4 months old! The photo's are a little bit crap because like an idiot I took then the day after his 3rd set of jabs and wouldn't even look at the camera - SPOILER ALERT: They are a life ruiner!!

WEIGHT: 13lb 12oz. He's currently staying steady along the 50th percentile so I'm thinking we are due a growth spurt!

CURRENT CLOTHES SIZE: We're currently squidging his little bum into 0-3 months clothes with a bit of growing room and size 3 nappies! Although we can still get in a few of our up to 1 month baby grows.

THINGS THAT HAVE CHANGED: He's been mentally growing like anyone's business. After being a little bit of a slow bloomer we're cracking on with smiling, chatting, grabbing and sitting (propped up ofcourse)! We're not ready for rolling over yet but he's starting facing Mummy when we are snuggled in bed. We've also swapped over to his big boy pushchair!

NEW THINGS I LIKE:
His favourite thing at the minute is his monkey from M&S. He's crinkly, soft and also has a little teething leaf for him to chew on. We also bought a rain maker from Mothercare and some bubbles from Wilko's a few weeks back because he was completely mesmerized by them in store! He also loves watching you eat which is a tad un-nerving as it feels like he is slightly judging you for the 6 chocolate biscuits.

NEW THINGS I DON'T LIKE: For some reason he hates it when Daddy gets him dressed after having a bath. He just doesn't do it the same as Mummy obviously!

AND HOWS MUMMY?: I won't lie, I've been struggling mentally. I may of had a slight breakdown last week which involved me passing Theo to Kieran and then leaving the house for a few hours...at 5 in the morning. This was after an exceptionally bad night - after his injections! Be prepared!!! - This little boy is the best part of my life but being homesick and adult life in general is getting me down a teeny bit. I'm also feeling like a whale and need to stop scoffing food now. It's been 4 months now, it's time to chill out on the cake and chocolate. Plus, we're off to Cornwall in 2 weeks time and at this rate none of my beach appropriate items will be getting past my thighs!
