Christ it's March already. January was the longest month ever and then BOOM, were in March and there are Easter Eggs everywhere! If you've read my previous post then you'll get the gist as to why I've been a little quiet. Juggling homelessness, a new job and then a new house was enough without having to add writers block to the list of reasons why I don't sleep. But here I am, yet again, trying to put all my effort into my little spot on the internet. After such a serious post like the last one I thought I would clarify that although 2018 wasn't the greatest year, I am still lucky! Here's to 2019!
We found our forever home - As you may of read in the previous post, we have a lovely house. We are lucky enough to be in a brand new build on a lovely estate around 10 minutes away from both of our families. It even has a downstairs loo!
We're planning a wedding - I may write a separate post about this and Edinburgh in general as it's a lovely place but Tom proposed when we took a little mini break in December! I am a fiancee and as of January have been planning our special day - in less than a years time! Our venue is booked along with various other bits although I'm still on the look out for the perfect dress - on a budget!
Theo turned 2 - On New Years Eve, my not so baby boy turned 2! We just had a few friends and family around as we had just moved into the new house at the time - and the fridge broke so we had to get someone to eat all of our food! My favourite part of the day was seeing my hard work on CBeebies, in the form of Theo's birthday card! We literally watched all day waiting for it! Due to me starting work again, Theo also started nursery! He's made plenty of friends and loves all of his key workers.
My best friend had a baby - Well this technically happened in October but my best friend and Theo's God Mum had a little bundle of her own. She's bloody beautiful and I couldn't be prouder as she smashes this parenting malarky - which is amazing because she doesn't sleep!
I'm pretty sure this means that in 2019 (well most of it anyway!) you'll be seeing plenty of wedding spam, mixed in with blobs of toddler tantrums and the occasional rant!
