Sometimes in life, you feel the need to reinvent. Like getting a new hair cut that you instantly regret or taking up a new hobby that you give up after 2 weeks. Fortunately for me, refreshing my blog is a lot easier than refreshing myself.
A fair while after my last post - I've returned to start again. I've culled the no longer appropriate blog posts. I've pimped up my header and tried to change the general feel of my space here.
I started off as a fairly established (aka: a couple of 1000 followers, not exactly taking on the world!) beauty blogger with a sarcastic sense of humour and after getting pregnant and having my little boy everything got a little lost. I misplaced my love of blogging, even if it was only myself reading it.
Being a full time Mum, it's hard to forget that your also a person that doesn't just change nappies and be a slave to a smaller version of your former self. But I think that's starting to change. After leaving an unhappy relationship, slowly getting to grips with money issues and single parenting I think I've finally started to find myself again.
Here is my fresh start. The line in the sand (which explains the obviously stolen from Google header image. Not very "bloggy"). As gorgeous as the boy I created is, I'm not just a Mum. I'm a slightly sweary, cake eating, tea drinking, beauty addict and it's time to embrace that side again.
To everyone who has followed me from the beginning and to anyone who has recently discovered this place I call mine: Thank you. Welcome. And go and have a glass of wine because your probably a Mum who needs one.
