THEO | 9 MONTHS
*Ok so I've had this post written up for almost a month and it seemed a shame to not post it even though he's almost 10 months so here it is.
It's been a busy month since I last posted anything at all. Theo and I are now settled into our new home and our new life as a duo. A lot has changed since his 7 month update - yes I skipped month 8, lets just brush over that one - with Theo as well as in our lives and every day is amazing watching him learn and grow! Apart from the lack of sleep, that bit isn't so amazing! Oh and the tantrums.
CURRENT CLOTHES SIZE: We are nicely fitting into 6-9 months (with a little room to spare) and have also purchased our winter stash of 9-12's!
THINGS THAT HAVE CHANGED: Theo is no longer a squidgy little newborn. We cut our first teeth (thats right, not one but two front teeth at the same time!) last month and we've also taken to standing instead of sitting. He seems to of completely by passed crawling and opted for spinning round on his belly and rolling to get from A to B. He has also taken a great interest in slut dropping, and is far better at it than me.
NEW THINGS I LIKE: Finally! I've been waiting for the stage where I can fill these boxes out! We have a not so little baby with a not so little personality! He loves musical instruments, or anything that makes a noise and his love for the TV is still going strong. Justin's House and In the Night Garden are firm favourites to which he gets VERY excited and bounces up and down shouting.
NEW THINGS I DON'T LIKE: Sleep is still lacking. Although with some controlled crying we seem to of crack nap time but sleeping for more than 4 hours in the night is a very distant memory. He's also beginning to be a fussy bugger with food like his Mother despite all attempts to shove pureed lamb down his neck.
WHAT WE'VE DONE: Last month, Theo's Dad took us all to the Zoo. Although he was asleep for most of it he got a good look at the penguins. Since we've moved we've also gone to a few baby classes, took part in LOTS of walking and been swimming a handful of times - one of which I almost drowned us both in the baby pool. Not my finest moment as a parent.
AND HOWS MUMMY?: We've just got over a massibe bout of coldy/fluey crapness and money has been a mission to try and sort out but aside from that, I'm so happy to be home and surrounded by my family and friends. It's also nice to have "me time" at the weekend when Theo is with his Dad! So far, so good!
