THEO | 6 MONTHS

I refuse to believe that my little squidgy came into the world 6 months ago! I won't get too mushy (I'll save that for his 1st birthday) but it still feels like a bit of a milestone. 6 months is sort of when they are viewed as actually babies as opposed to cuddly newborns - as shown by the pictures because he will no longer sit nicely for photos! Now they are rolling and sitting and babbling! They are officially starting to become their own little person! Where's my tiny baby at! No wonder people get broody again!

WEIGHT: 16lb 9oz

CURRENT CLOTHES SIZE: I can still squeeze him into his upto 3 month baby grows but in all honesty...they are a tad small. However I am not ready to add more clothes to the 2 bin bags full of clothes I already have horded away.

THINGS THAT HAVE CHANGED: Theo has started rolling around everywhere (like off the sofa for example!!) and started sitting unaided (for about 10 seconds and then he flops to one side but he's getting there). He's also had the worlds crappest ear infection for the last 3 weeks so eating and general learning has taken a bit of a backseat. Due to this and teething his sleep has become none existent and co-sleeping has become our way of life for the short term - I say co-sleeping. One of us gets kicked on the sofa and Theo gets that side of the bed. Nightmare! We've also started nursery once a week which he is loving!

NEW THINGS I LIKE:
Aside from the calming effect Love Island seems to have on him he just seems to be enjoying exploring things from new angles. He also adores yogurt!

NEW THINGS I DON'T LIKE: Savory food is still a bit no no. He will have a spoonful to be polite and then give up completely like I'm trying to poison him.

WHAT WE'VE DONE: I decided to add this new section as now Theo is getting more active we are doing new things all the time - YAY! So this month we went to nursery for the first time - he didn't really care at all which is fantastic but slightly heart breaking. He also attended his first birthday party for one of my friends daughters 1st birthday. He was all partied out after playing in the ball pit and trying to kiss the birthday girl - little stud muffin!

AND HOWS MUMMY?: This ear infection is making life a tad difficult. I'm so run down and can't stop eating biscuits which is not ideal when your trying to shift the post baby "not eaten in 8 months" weight. Today I spoke to a chap in the queue whilst shopping who told me he didn't sleep for 4 years...I honestly wanted to run away and cry. Despite all this that cute little giggle makes everything a little bit worth while.

There is officially 6 months left until our not so little baby turns one (and our first Christmas...yes it's only July but I'm already excited!!)
