AND A BELATED MERRY CHRISTMAS! I hope everyone had a cracking time and ate copious amounts of food! Setting off from where I left off on my previous blog - it's time for another pregnancy update! We have 5 weeks left until my due date! EEP! Unfortunately over the last month I've been a little unavailable due to being ridiculously poorly and being stuck in and out of hospital - which as you can imagine doesn't have the greatest of photo opportunities. Also due to this I am being induce in 8 days time! Yup that's right! So this will most likely be one of my last pregnancy updates so I'll make it short and sweet and try not to moan to much!
HOW BIG IS BABY: During my growth scan check up last week we were told our little chunker is weighing in at around 5lb! Not too shabby since he is going to be evicted early!
HOW I'M FEELING: I'm not sure whether it's the preeclampsia or general pregnancy but I just feel totally crap the whole time! I have to take a fair few paracetamol to get myself through the day and I'm usually very stubborn when it comes to taking pain killers.
HOW MY BODY IS CHANGING: Little man has shifted right down and I can safely say has ran out of room in there. I seem to of received a few more stretch marks but to be honest it's about the only thing I can complain about body wise - yes its me, NOT complaining!
CRAVINGS AND AVERSIONS: I'm still struggling to eat due to the ridiculous acid reflux and cramped up stomach. I would kill for a stress free cup of tea before baby arrives although I think there might be a fat chance of that!
SOMETHING THAT MADE ME HAPPY: I've finally got an induction date after the last month of pussy footing around the subject! It shouldn't make me happy that little man is coming a month early but as I've endured steroid injections and he'll almost be 37 week I don't feel too guilty! HURRY UP 4TH JANUARY!
AND SOMETHING THAT MADE ME NOT SO HAPPY: I'm not going to lie I was a little upset at Christmas lunch when I couldn't eat all of my roast potatoes - my Mum makes amazing roasties! Proper #firstworldproblems right there! - and generally being pregnant over the festive period isn't exactly the most exciting of experiences for an ex party girl like myself.
So the countdown is on! T-MINUS 8 DAYS UNTIL INDUCTION! I am silently poo'ing my pants to be perfectly honest but as long as little man is happy and healthy, I can't complain to much! I'll try and sneak in a quick update before he arrives but if not....I'll see you on the other side!
